There is a fox den about a half mile away from our house. Despite driving by it nearly every day, I hadn’t seen any “action” there until…
I was so excited to see the mom and her pup that it took a few minutes to register two things
- She had stopped and was looking right at me instead of running the opposite direction.
- She was emitting a small bark.
I looked to my right…
The poor pups were too young to understand their mom’s warning. I snapped off a few pictures and left. I didn’t want to stress her out any more than I all ready had.
Oh Cee, what a moment. Just wonderful.

Sorry just read the heading, and thought it was Cee. That’s what happens when you haven’t had coffee yet. Wonderful photos, Shutterbug. 🙂

They are 😊 And they were completely oblivious to my presence. I took these photos over the edge of my car.

Fantastic photos! I think foxes are beautiful animals and get an unnecessary, bad reputation.

They are incredibly sly. They have a path through my back bush. They like the next field over – there are alot of gophers there.

Aren’t those fox cubs cute. And you captured them beautiful in these photos. My favourite photo is the second one where they stand at attention.
