I was so excited to see the mom and her pup that it took a few minutes to register two things

1. She had stopped and was looking right at me instead of running the opposite direction.
2. She was emitting a small bark.

I looked to my right…

 

The poor pups were too young to understand their mom’s warning. I snapped off a few pictures and left. I didn’t want to stress her out any more than I all ready had.
