Share Your World- Jan 1, 2018

Thank you, Cee for the questions this week.

What one word describes you best?
Quiet. I have a “soft” voice and I don’t feel the need to talk all that much.

What is set as the background on your computer?

My determined daughter down a dirt road.

If you have been to a foreign country name those you have been too?

Haven’t traveled nearly as much as I think I should but I have dipped my toes in the US and Mexico.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

It’s a balmy -16C here right now with a windchill of -27C. I am not kidding when I say this a vast improvement over the -50C windchill that was here last week. I am really looking forward to it warming up. The cold weather is giving me cabin fever and contributing to pure unadulterated laziness. The Weather network is predicting better temps for the weekend, so let’s hope they get it right. 😊

    1. it’s usually cold like that a day here or there but having a week of it was a killer. And thanks! The poor girl didn’t realize there was a but of an incline there, hard peddling but a super cute moment to remember 😊

  1. Happy new year to you Shutterbug! Great photo of your daughter on a mission!
If you are talking about Canadian winter, I know exactly how it feels, spent about a decade there! But somehow I like the cold climate better than what I am enjoying here!

  2. Is there a best photo to kickstart the new year?! I love its simplicity and to me this image of your daughter represents a path the each of us has to follow on our own. Thanks for visiting me and congratulations on your work! I think I will visit your more regularly now. Have a great year!

    1. Thanks! I like meeting photography enthusiasts. I tried leaving you a comment yesterday on your New Years post. I wonder if it was spammed? My app was acting up yesterday so I am not sure. But I wanted your suggestions on photography books to read. I just started reading some and am always looking for suggestions 😊
