Wow! Not sure i have ever seen anything like that either, we need Jude to advise us on the cloud formation. Brilliant shot, actually a spectacular one as you caught it on your phone

I have to admit that I don’t know much about clouds. This was taken last year. I cant even remember if it was a stormy day or what the weather was doing that day. Hope you are enjoying your holiday festivities ๐

Not sure as the rolling look is quite unusual but my guess would be that these are NIMBOSTRATUS clouds, dark and flat often produce rain or snow.
